An Evening with (the Wantage Batman)

The UK is home to 18 native bat species, which account for about 20% of all British mammal species!

Join us for a bit of a batty evening where we will welcome Wantage’s very own ‘Batman’ David Endacott.

David works with the Oxfordshire Bat Group which provides a rescue service for grounded, sick or injured bats with the aim of getting them back into the wild whenever possible.

He will describe the bats he sees and discuss the population in Oxfordshire, their conservation needs, activities and surveys carried out at roost sites.
