At our meeting in January, we were treated to ‘A Night at the Races’. Using a variety of household items such as newspaper, oven gloves, playing cards, balloons, toilet rolls and even a horse, elephant, tiger and dinosaur (toys), members were challenged to play a series of short games to win tokens. Spectators tried to guess who would win and cheered on their champions. There was a lot of laughter, and some extremely competitive natures were revealed. The evening definitely cheered up a dark damp January night.
